EMPLOYER MATCHING GIFTS
You can double — or even triple — the impact of your donation to Belwin Conservancy with a matching gift from your employer. Employer matching gifts are a simple way to maximize your donation to Belwin.
Matching your donation is easy! Just contact your human resources or business office to see if they match employees’ charitable giving and to find out what information you will need. Most often, there is a brief form to fill out, requiring our tax identification number.

GIFTS OF STOCK
Belwin Conservancy accepts gifts of stock, which we sell immediately in order to support our work. Donors often obtain significant tax benefits by donating stock because under the current tax laws, you can avoid capital gains tax on the appreciation of donated stock, and are entitled to a tax deduction of the full fair market value of the gift. We recommend that you consult a tax professional for specific advice about your situation.
In accordance with IRS regulations, you will receive an acknowledgement for tax purposes listing the number of shares donated and the value of the stock as of the date the shares are received in our account.
How to Transfer Stock to Belwin Conservancy
Please contact us, or have your broker contact us, to let us know about the transfer if you would like written confirmation from Belwin for your contribution. Belwin Conservancy will not be notified of your name as part of the wire transfer.
