Belwin volunteers contribute in a positive and meaningful way to our mission of inspiring connection and engagement with the natural world. Volunteers support staff in connecting people and the land through land management and stewardship, public events, administrative tasks, and special projects.
Volunteer Positions
Administration
Administration Volunteers help Belwin Conservancy’s Development Director, Operations Associate and Executive Director with a variety of office tasks to support the operational success of the organization. Tasks may include tracking event attendance, thanking donors, and general office support. This position may also work with Belwin Conservancy’s SalesForce database management system.
Public Events
Public Event Volunteers help staff with welcoming and supporting individuals at a variety of programs throughout the year. This position can include greeting visitors at information tables and entrances, assisting with parking and set-up, stocking or distributing refreshments, working at merchandise tables, and directing visitors to event locations.
Land Management
Land Management Volunteers help Belwin Conservancy staff restore the ecological processes that enable the native species of our region to thrive. This position can participate in a variety of outdoor restoration activities such as removal of non-natives, seed collection and seeding, and trail maintenance.
Trail Walker
Trail Walker Volunteers support the health and accessibility of Belwin’s public hiking trails. This position can include walking the trails to clean up litter and natural debris on walking paths and assisting visitors with directions if needed.
